Honest answers about what's planned and what exists today. Short version: this is an early-stage mockup, and the free parenting app is coming soon.
About Stork
What is Stork?
Stork is an early-stage concept for a supportive companion for parents: a free parenting app with guidance and milestones, plus thoughtfully selected baby essentials and optional, flexible deliveries. This website is a mockup. Nothing is available to download or buy yet.
Are the products and prices currently available?
No. The brands, products and prices on this site are placeholders used to illustrate the idea. Nothing can be ordered, and final products, pricing and plans haven't been decided.
Does Stork provide medical advice?
No. The planned app would share general educational information about development and everyday parenting. It wouldn't diagnose conditions, monitor symptoms or replace your pediatrician, midwife or doctor. If you're worried about your child or yourself, please contact a healthcare provider.
The free parenting app
Is the parenting app free?
Yes, that's the plan. The app is coming soon and isn't available yet.
Do I need a subscription to use the app?
No. We believe helpful parenting resources should be accessible whether or not you shop with us. The app is planned to work on its own, with no purchase or subscription.
What will the app help me with?
Common developmental milestones by age, age-appropriate play and learning ideas, articles, tips and checklists about feeding, sleep and play, optional check-ins for parents, and postpartum well-being resources. Optional product suggestions for your child's stage would be there if you want them.
How will personalized recommendations work?
If you choose to share a due date or your child's birthday, the app could tailor guidance and optional product ideas to their stage, such as a heads-up about the next clothing size or a book for their age. Recommendations would always be optional and clearly separate from advice.
What information about my family would Stork use?
Only what you choose to share, and only to personalize your experience: for example a due date or birthday, a nickname, and preferences like feeding or diaper type. You'd be able to use the app with minimal information. A full privacy policy would be published before launch. This mockup doesn't store anything you enter.
Shopping, plans & gifts
Can I purchase products without subscribing?
Yes, that's the plan. One-time purchases would sit alongside optional delivery plans you could customize, skip, change or pause.
How do the example plans work?
Bump, First Year, Baby to Toddler and Little Years are illustrative starting points, not final tiers. The plan builder shows a sample timeline and an illustrative estimate. It doesn't place an order.
How will baby shower gifting work?
We're exploring two ideas: a personalized introductory baby box, and a shared shower fund where friends and family contribute any amount toward diapers, essentials, toys and books, or flexible credit. Both are concepts only; there are no payments or registries yet.
Can I use HSA/FSA funds?
Some baby and postpartum items are often HSA/FSA eligible, but eligibility would be confirmed item by item before launch.
